Our team is made up of dedicated players, coaches, management and supporters who are committed to promoting women's football and empowering young women through sports. We take pride in our values of teamwork, unity, leadership, and gender equality. Within five (5) years, the club grew from a division three (3) club through to division one (1) club by the start of the 2020/2021 season. All through to hard work, determination and philosophy of the club, suffice to say that the club was the second runner up in the 2020/2021 season apparently a well deserving performance in its first year of competing in the division one league. The fortunes brightened further as the club emerged winners of the division one (1) league in Northern Region in the next season. This was phenomenal as the club chalked this feat in its second year of playing in the division one league in Northern Region. Thus, earning a place in the middle league for the Northern Zone and subsequently qualified into the women’s premier league for the 2022/2023. The club successfully participated in the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier league and placed eighth (8th) on the league table at the end of the 2022/2023 Season. The club has drawn many laurels in its eight (8) years of existence both at the level of individual players and trophies won by the team. Players from Tamale Super Ladies have earned call ups in to different levels of Ghana’s national teams. Players of the club have consistently had calls ups to the national under-15 female team, national under-17, the Black Maidens, the national under-21, the Black Princess and the senior female national team, the Black Queens. Indeed, the last national under-17 team had two (2) players from the club. At the level of competitions, players have won best players, top scorers, well behaved and best goal keepers. Tamale Super Ladies is also four times winners (Gold Medalist) of the Unity games organized in December every year. These achievements are most encouraging and inspires hope for more in future. The club has been without any corporate sponsorship nor support but has survived largely on resource mobilized by management of club. Further contributions from the community and fans have been of immense support to the sustenance of the club thus far. Even without corporate support, the growth trajectory of the club is phenomenal. Hence any help particularly a secured and well packaged support would certainly drive home more successes on the way of the club. A club that has demonstrated hunger for success deserves a befitting support to bring home more laurels.
